Tuggy Tug Tug

Today we had our tarik tali matches.Each team had to compete with 4 other teams.It was so fun!!After so many years of not doing it,it felt so good being able to do it again!=P At first I was really really nervous.First,we went against blue house(Marsh) and we lost the first round.We were quite discouraged at first but,that didn't stop us from trying all our might again.It was a real challenge for me today.I really had to make sure that I didn't let discouragement bring my hopes down and at the same time make my team members feel discouraged to.I had to constantly encourage everyone even when I wasn't myself.That was tough.We managed to win the second and third round.We were jumping up and down and screaming and shouting like crazy people.So that was the first match.The second match was against the purple team(Cheng Kim).Honestly,by that time,almost all of us were already wiped out.So,I was quite worried that might bring us down.Amazingly,just as the whistle was blown,everyone seemed to gain their confidence back and we won that match!!=P By the third match,we were exhausted.We thought that our main competitors were Marsh,but if there's a lesson to be learnt from today,it would be 'Never Ever Ever judge a book by its cover!'.Turns out the real competition was the red team(Lee),which was our third match.We lost.Bad.I felt so pissed off.I'm quite a sore loser actually.I dislike losing a lot.A whole lot!Thankfully,I managed not to get into 'angry mode'.We won our fourth and last match for the day,which put us in 2nd place for now.Finals are next Monday.Hopefully with the experience and knowledge we've gained from today,we'll be able to get 1st next week!!
